About Pinto Productions LLC

For centuries, humans have told stories as a means of connecting with one another through the shared experiences and universal meaning found within the tales. Pinto Productions LLC aims to craft such stories through various genres of film, focusing on the individual meaning to be found in each cinematic experience – both as the filmmakers and the viewers.

Since the company’s founding in winter of 2018, the team at Pinto Productions LLC has always approached each project with passion, unrelenting tenacity, and admiration for the things we hold dear. We hold a deep respect for nature and our place in it, and believe it is important to showcase the beauty of the world around us and the unique scenery and experiences to be found throughout Minnesota and the Midwest.

Fun Fact of the Day

  • Although Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes, since it is upstream of all other US states, no water flows into the state from elsewhere in the US.

The Team

Aden Lungstrom

He/Him — Founder and Producer

Lungstrom is a Minnesotan raised, Minneapolis based director/filmmaker. While attending the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Aden Lungstrom wrote, directed, and produced Hair of the Dog in 2016.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Media Culture, Aden Lungstrom founded Pinto Productions LLC, started producing a Minnesotan state park and culture series called You Betcha Minnesota, and has continued writing scripts for his next film projects.

While his love for cinema lies in creature features, thrillers, and horror, what inspires Lungstrom most as a filmmaker is his passion about the ability to tell stories that have individual meaning to the viewer as well as to each individual involved in its creation. It is his goal to create a production company that spotlights the unique talents of each team member, and inspires future filmmakers to tell their own stories and create an impact.

When he is not behind a camera, Aden enjoys exploring trails, spending time with his cat Bilbo, running obstacle courses, and venturing through the metro in search of the best pizza in the Cities. He can usually be found chilling in his hammock chair with a Stephen King novel, or watching spooky movies with his partner.
