Psych 101

An overwhelmed student struggles to find peace within as she battles her academics while being haunted by hooded figures.

Psych 101 was a spring semester class project for a course at MCTC in 2024. This particular project was edited and composed by Aden Lungstrom. The music composed was uniquely made for this version only!

This was my first time composing music for a film! While it was a challenging first step, it has allowed me to open a new door and drastically change the vision of my work!” — Aden Lungstrom

In Psych 101, Aden heavily uses a synthesizer to create a turbulent atmosphere for the protagonist of the film Lyndse as well as the figures that haunt her. The song that Aden enjoyed creating the most for Psych 101 would be the “The Passing Comet.” This theme is most prevalent during the scenes in which Lyndse reaches out for support from her friend.
